  • @Hotelmotelkfc "Kid".. LOL grow up, chump

  • @mattmatt115 You are obviously a child that is why I am responding as a safety warning to all unsuspecting RX1 riders. Yamaha admitted that the linkage on the first year RX1's was to short. I added longer links and it still tipped. Very dangerous in certain high speed or tight twisty corners. I am not trying to be cooler than you kid, that's a given. Just be aware of these things if you're friend let's you ride his rx1 again this year : D

  • @Hotelmotelkfc Sorry you wasted your money on shocks... The only "problem" is the "narrow" ski stance and its not a problem even if you dont "fix" it but you can upgrade to a wider stance that is, if you cant handle it the way it is, which obviously you couldnt....It really isn't a big deal, you have the newer model anyway, so you are "cooler" now *eye roll*

  • @mattmatt115 Obviously you are a follower not a leader. Keeping up with doo's & pullurasses but not cats? Sure if you drive real slow you won't notice the tipping problem, I guess. An RX1 is supposed to be built for speed and comfort. Got rid of mine cause the thing is a death trap in the corners. They fixed the problems with the Apex. Trust me I know I spent 5 grand on Elka shocks to try and fix the problem when Rxton was the only 4 stroke on the mkt. Rx1 is a death trap in corners.

  • @Hotelmotelkfc Tippy? What, you dont shift your weight or something? I've no problems with mine up here in Northern Ontario, it actually performs quite nice in the corners, im used to it and i think it's perfect for me, and i can keep up with my buddies on their skidonts and pullurasses.. cats though, seems each Cat rider has a mental problem so they are usually fast...

  • That was rattling more than usual. The 2003-2004 have a clutch rattling. Doesn't hurt it at all. If u want the noise to stop replace the clutch. I got a 03 with a aftermarket exhaust and it sounds.... Like a bear.... A burning bear (in a good way)!

  • The Rx1 is so friggen Tippy in corners. I switched to an Apex and I am so very happy and still alive.

  • @TheHondaAbuser Um no, im Canadian, and i have a warrior, and i ride the powerlines all the time, sometimes even alone, and only a fool needs 3 people to get unstuck, or someone with pencils for arms. Maybe you guys need to work out for a few years before you should ride an Rx1. I'll tell ya, i dont get stuck unless i go looking to do just that.

And im no fucking Americunt. My point still stands, this is a heavy sled, but its a mans sled for that reason. A boy will not be able to handle it
