Dr. Berk, no one should have to endure what you did but, as you mention, I imagine that one can't help but become a better, more empathetic, and more committed physician as a result of enduring such a serious medical injury and experience. The unique perspective you've now acquired will have ripple effects not only on Strong, but also on all other hospital CEOs you know, and many patients will benefit as a result. I hope the rest of your recovery is speedy and wish you only the best.
