James Danderfer is a rising Canadian jazz clarinetist. After spending two years in China he came up with a musical project named "Accelerated Development", which was inspired by frantic life in Shanghai city and local jazz scene. Working with fellow musician friends back in Canada, this project took form gigging around China and resulted with JD's second album.
This song is the first track of this CD, recorded in 2008. It is dedicated to migrant workers, whose jackhammers beat night and day like Shanghai's pulse.
