@mjbond2 In the 1990s we prepared for it despite of some michal bay movies and some games a emp would simply and easily do this it would disable the entire power grid in that area depending on how the grid is layed out. Emergency services have a hardlinded backup created using a series of analog and digital messages kept in a secure location.
