Joan Bennett appeared as several Dark Shadows Festivals and was always gracious. Here she is asked a question by a fan concerning a plot point on Dark Shadows. These videos were given to me over the years by many fans and videographers such as David Brown, Guy Haines to name a few.

  • She died in 1990. Since "Dark Shadows," I've definitely gained in an interest in her Hollywood work. The late Grayson Hall follows suit as well. They had a number of accomplished actors/actresses on the show---and their numbers are sadly but naturally dwindling.

  • Thank you, Miss Kersey, for posting this short tidbit from that never to be forgotten DS Fest! I was there too. Great to hear Charles Ellis's voice again. Miss Bennett was the epitome of class and I think she was genuinely touched and moved by the tremendous love and respect her fans displayed. That was a FEST for the ages! What a pity many of today's "stars" lack even a scintilla of Miss Bennett's charm and grace!

  • She was awesome in "Scarlet Street" with Edward G. Robinson! Fabulous Actor!

  • Anyone who likes Joan Bennett should see a great old film noir classic, "Woman In The Window". Very enjoyable. She is gorgeous in it.

  • i wish i could go to a festival too.

  • something to the effect of 'i don't know the answer'. i think she may have been talking about them asking a question she knew she wouldn't be able to answer.

  • i wish i could go to a festival.....~...

  • I don't know but what year did she die?,I know it was over 10 years ago,she was in her late 80's I think.she was one of the greats..'Suspiria' and 'Secret Beyond The Door' are my favorite films of hers.

  • what does Joan say right after the woman asked the question? ... all i can make out from her is 'sorry i dont know how i felt'
