This drill is high impact. I don't do it much anymore, but it's not bad to mix in if you are bored.
Newsflash, training for boxing can be very boring. There should be a lot of repetition.

  • I barely ever do this drill, but some guys think it is OK. I don't like it because it's not something you do that much when you are fighting. It's decent as a drill to make a group of people do who are bored of doing hundreds of reps of other stuff day in day out. A little variety is nice...

  • @albertpope I had a few month of boxing coaching about a year ago. I have been practiceing everything I learnd on the heavybag in my weightlifting gym and must say getting quite good at combos, hitting to the body, getting angles and pivoting. One thing I haven't practiced in a while was my rhythm such as rythyming forward and around the ring,I have lost a feel for it. Can you give me a few pointers? Mabey post a drill w/a video. Thanks, your videos are helpful!

  • Never seen any boxers do that, only little kids in the park. And I've never seen any boxers fight on one leg before.

  • This really help?I will begin to do in training.
