Manly Palmer Hall was a Canadian-born author and mystic. He is perhaps most famous for his work The Secret Teachings of All Ages: An Encyclopedic Outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbalistic and Rosicrucian Symbolical Philosophy, which is widely regarded as his magnum opus, and which he published at the age of 27.
He has been widely recognized as a leading scholar in the fields of religion, mythology, mysticism, and the occult.
In 1934, Hall founded the Philosophical Research Society (PRS) in Los Angeles, California, dedicating it to an idealistic approach to the solution of human problems. The PRS claims to be non-sectarian and entirely free from educational, political, or ecclesiastical control, and the Society's programs stress the need for the integration of philosophy, religion, and science into one system of instruction. The PRS Library, a public facility devoted to source materials in obscure fields, has many rare and scarce items now impossible to obtain elsewhere.
In 1973 (47 years after writing The Secret Teachings of All Ages), Hall was recognized as a 33º Mason (the highest honor conferred by the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite), at a ceremony held at PRS on December 8th, despite never being initiated into the physical craft.
In his over 70-year career, Hall delivered approximately 8,000 lectures in the United States and abroad, authored over 150 books and essays, and wrote countless magazine articles.

@blahbl4hblahtoo haha, that's fine. It doesn't take away from the weight and research of the Irish Origins volumes though. You can check out irishoriginsofcivilization.kom and read the lengthy appendices, and if you are convinced that is all "crazy" without really digging into it then you can check the 100 or so sourced books to see if all those authors are "crazy" too. And if it all ends up being "crazy" after your own research into the subject then that is alright too. No skin off my teeth

@ionvkch Tsarion is out of his mind. Sorry to be so confrontational about this, but that man is crazy.

@allzipy But there IS manipulation of historical data, no doubt. And yes, much of this manipulation comes out of Western academia. There is a reason for that. You might check out Irish Origins of Civilization by Michael Tsarion. He shows where these western obfuscaters come from and what their agenda is. Don't let the title of the book throw you off. He is EXPOSING an evil element embedded in western civilization throughout both volumes of that massive tome.

@allzipy Western astrology is NOT "manipulated and inferior" to vedic astrology either. This is just another example of bigots trying to keep things permanently separated. You obviously really, really really want the West to be in some sort of evil, subordinate, degenerate, unlearned and manipulative historical perspective. All I am saying is that maybe that is not correct. I could give lists of books, discoveries, etc., but you would think it is all evil white historians twisting the truth

@allzipy Just know that I am not trying to "steal the thunder" of ancient india or take the wind out of your sails, only to show that the world is much bigger than india. The world is much bigger than europe too. Lets face it. WE DIDN'T BUILD OR WRITE ANYTHING. The ancients did. Yes, one might say that we are the ancients ultimately, but I feel their perspective and world view was vastly different from our own, i.e., there was not this narrow racist bigotry that is rampant today.

@allzipy "navigation sprang from nav gath." Etymology is really interesting and the study of it shows the interconnectedness of all the worlds peoples, showing there must have been a global civilization but that something must have went "boom" at some point and we are still traumatized as a species because of it. But, that does not mean "indians invented navigation, end of story." Look up 'The Code' by Carl Munck. All ancient people used Pi, every last one of them.

@ionvkch . The language is computer perfect.. If u read the preface of A Brief History of Time then u will notice that there is no mention of India. Why? because it breaks the thread of reasoning as set by historians.Well my argument initially was that the manipulated material brings more harm than good, so the original source should be cosulted & the original source of all this is Hindu Texts but it deviated. Anyways its just my 2 Cents, whether they are worth or not is your take.

@ionvkch Yes it is. Do u know the Meridian over Ujjain was considered The First by ancient Indians. They created encryption through PI. They knew about Speed of Light. They knew about Big Bang. Do u know the verses written in Vedas are calculated mathematically in a prescribed formula.Do u know history of Zinc.Navigation sprang out of Nav Gath. They used cube roots, created Zero to define state of NO Universe before Big Bang & mathematical formulas on infinity.

@allzipy india is ancient, as are its monuments, the west is ancient, covered with dolmens, mounds and other structures, the americas are ancient, china is ancient, it is all ancient. The I-Ching is an incredible system, as is the Tarot. Chinese astrology is very interesting, as is Vedic astrology. Deep in the past it seems the world was much more interconnected and there wasn't all this bigotry. The ancient monuments the world over speak to one another mathematically. No coincidence.
