  • I see your point and I agree that we must protect our marine environment. However, it's the commercialized big-game fisheries - equipped with on-board landers, long hooks, giant nets and refreegis- that endangers this hunky mackerel not the 'individuals whose main goal is to have fun, not to make money.

  • pretty cool guys

  • What's better fishing, New Zealand and Oceania or Gulf of Mexico?

  • We all need to stop fishing for bluefin. They are endangered and on the brink of total collapse. Every fish that is left is important - and more important is the message it sends. Stop eating them, stop killing them, or they will be gone forever. Do a little bit of research and see for yourself.

  • nice

  • what kind of line is that on your reels?

  • have fun guys!! :)

  • soundwolf6 Top clip!! but why say that fish is 256kg iv done plenty of tuna fishing and that would be lucky to be 120kg max! i mean shit man, for it to weigh 256kg or 563.2 pounds!!, it would be at least 8 foot long. and for one man to single handedly bring it aboard with 1 little gaff!!!!! sure you might have the amatures fooled but not the pro!! that thing was about 5 and a half foot long doesn't look much bigger than an 84 kg yellowfin tuna that i caught off bermagui a decade back!!

  • great fishing...

  • Nice giant and that fish was ony half grown. 50+ years ago you could catch BFT well over 1000 lbs. The stock is so decimated now we might not ever see those #'s again.

  • its a monster mannnnnnnnnnnn! BFT!

  • How much does it cost to charter a boat in Cape Cod these days?
