  • I am shocked that you don't get a fully loaded printer cartridge. with ink.

  • It's common practice with nearly every printer manufacturer out there. The ink or toner included with the printer is only half what you would normally get if you bought the ink or toner by itself.

Even worse, the price of replacement ink or toner could be as expensive or higher than the printer itself! I have a Samsung CLP-315 color laser printer that I found on special for $150. The replacement cartridges cost over $200!

So when the cartridges are empty, I'll simply throw away the printer.

  • @TheCanadianPublic you can flash the firmware and refill the cartridge with toner yourself (100gram of toner for 3-10$).

  • @hitachi088 I'd rather get a new printer. This way, I know the drivers are up to date. :)

  • @CreazioniPinnacolo last year i bought a Samsung 1665 (brand new) for 20$ with shipping on newegg.

  • @TheCanadianPublic can i get one of those when you thrown them out? cuz im a student and i cant afford theprinter lol

  • @TheCanadianPublic My printer is an inkjet color all-in-one, that I recevied for free (after mail-in-rebate of course!). Although, even though it's 5-years old, it still works well and I've only spent $80 on ink for 5 years! I won't bother getting a new one!

  • This printer might not wake up the neighbors in Canada, but here in the U.S., some neighbors just are not condusive to such noise (even though those that hate the noise cause trouble themselves). Apart from that, this is an excellent business-class printer for home use.

  • nice...thanks

  • Thanks for the review. I am buying a second printer. I was thinking of this one.
