How to make scalemail!

In this video the self proclaimed master himself, shows you how to weave scalemail and attach complete segments of scalemail to eachother flawlessly.

I use Jump rings instead of split rings mostly because i hate having to rotate the damn things around and it confuses the hell out of me.

hmm but how would you make it so the top is straight and not a point?

@medievallover120 unlike chainmail scalemail is more about angles when you connect them. i find assembling them in squares and angling them in such a way that you make a sheet is the most effective way as opposed to assembling the overall shape peice by peice. like quilting in a way.
