it's because everything has always been about Hayley, she's in the spotlight and her bandmates gets left behind in the dark, I know people are gonna hate me for saying but it's true. Why do you think the Farro brothers left the band?

People need to realize that Hayley is in the spotlight because she is the LEAD SINGER. You all wouldn't expect the drummer of a band to be in the spotlight all the time. Also the Farros left because of the relationship between Josh and Hayley, not because of Hayley being in the spotlight. You cant expect the lead singer not to get lots of attention when they are the most well known.

I agree with you, one band member shouldn't be in the spotlight, but there is always going to be one member who is a lot more popular and well know that the rest and it is normally the lead singer.

You're missing the point. There is not supposed to be one person in the spotlight. Ever seen interviews with other bands? Media introduces them as "blink 182" not "Mark Hoppus and the rest of blink 182". It's just as much fans and the medias fault for hayley being the center of attention as it hayley's. As for the Farross leaving, the Farros said it was because the band was becoming all about Hayley, even check their website blog.

Look at Avenged Sevenfold for example. M. Shadows and Synyster Gates get the majority of the attention whereas Zacky Vengeance and especially Johnny Christ get hardly any attention. It's just what you get when you have a lead singer/ singers.

The majority of bands that have lead singers mean the rest of the band get left behind or get less attention. That's just what happens. The only time everyone in a band will be equal is if everyone has equal vocal opportunities which very rarely occurs.
