This is my guitar recital. I improvised on Santana's "Love of My Life". The audio quality is a little rough but gets the point through. Also, the audio isn't exactly in sync. But the playing is all mine along with my guitar teacher, Tom Limbaugh.
Hi Jared, I posted a comment on this but it didn't show up. I just wanted to tell you how impressed I was with your performance. Even more so now that I listen back to this. You've really become a fine player and have a lot of reason to be proud! Tom
Thanks Tom. You were a big part of this success though. After all, you did help me on on improv techniques. The half hour I spent explaining to my Dad how to use YouTube was worth it haha.
Hi Trash, here I go, you hit some very nice melody lines from Carlos there, your basic feel is good, only watch when you bend notes that they're in pitch (you have to hear the notes before you play them).you've got a nice thick tone with enough gain (sustain) here, you're on the right track here, and Carlos is a great Mentor to listen too, a very nice first Vid,success my friend, hope to hear more from you and listen to your progress, friendly Vic.
That sounds awesome man! Carlos is a great person to take from. rock on!
