How to get SOLDAT working on WINDOWS VISTA

Just before we got our new computer, I got hooked on this game, but our old computer crashed, so we got a new Windows Vista. I just remembered about this game today, and I downloaded it just to find out that it doesnt work on Vista :( Anywho, I went digging and found out that it actually does! (Soz if the video quality sucks).

Basicly, right click Soldat, Properties. Select compatibility and check the box down the bottom that says "Run as an admin" or something, Click ok, and it should work from there :)

Soldat works on my comp (Vista), but it does not run in windowed mode. I did everything in the video, unchecked the fullscreen option in the config menu, but still no windowed mode. Does anyone know how to solve this?

try making sure the Window mode resize % is at 0, and make sure the fullscreen is unchecked.

After you click the save and exit button, and re-enter the setup, does it still show the changed settings, or does it still have fullscreen checked?

if it isnt changed, you will probably have to change the config in the soldat folder.

ffs can some1 help me everytime i open soldat it comes up in half screen mode i can only see half the screen... HELP PLZ

go to soldat setup and mess with resolutions and window mode

is your vista laptop or desktop?

Laptop. Thats probably why it only works on some vistas!

try checking the game options it should be in the game folder. it works on some other games you should try it.

The config.exe is all good - fullscreen unchecked and W.M.R. % at "0". Any other ideas? Thanks!
