Most of these questions can be answered by making sure you Have CFW (Custom FirmWare) which allows you to play the downloaded games. You can get CFW from a friend or someone you know that will install it properly for you. For me its Pacific Mall (asian mall)

You can check if you do by going into System Information on your psp.
it should say 3.XX m-33
XX being different numbers
