  • Another JOE SOUTH song, so funny South had a good baritone voice and all his songs fit same, but somehow most of the hits went to the high pitched Royal???????

  • This track was actually produced by Joe South so maybe he didn't think his voice would go down so well on this track and decided on getting Billy Joe in to lay the vocal down.

  • you have some great oldies Stompie

  • Anything from 65-75 gets me going Di,i don't get on with the newer stuff so much as some of it is a bit over produced for me,just a simple 4/4 kick drum and pounding beat is what tickles my feathers

  • Nice memories of this one...cheers Stompie!

  • It's all about the memorie's mate and keepin' the fire burnin' for the young 'un's ;o)

  • Another great 'stomper', from 1966 like so many classics

  • Never one of my favorites by Billy Joe and I don't recall it did very well nationally. I like it but I can live without it!
