I think from the 1:30 point on is the best part of the video. Showing people that the simple, everyday actions they take add up to something is wonderfully empowering. It reminds people that change need not be a complicated policy decision and real change comes from the bottom up--we need not wait for Wall Street or the government to take the lead.

In these days, think the cooperative business model is the most relevant, the most honest and the most equitable way of sharing resources and services. Co-ops basically work the same way. For more information, go search for The Electric Cooperative Story here on YouTube.

Great message and superb style. I agree that the tempo is fast and sustained. It could benefit from further editing and slowingd down the music.
I'm interested in getting a French version done.

@shoshig11 I agree! It's a great little video, but the message needs to be slowed down a bit. A spanish version would be a great logical next step, too.

Capitalism doesn't ruin national economies, capitalists do. Co-ops are part of the complex solution and work with capital to make things happen. Oh, and that capital is local and smaller and probably pooled from many of your neighbors.
