I am 30 weeks now and have really been having the acid refulx / HB problem lately. It can really be painful in the throat! So far, just using TUMS, but hope it doesn't bet any worse!
-
I've also been having this stuffy nose thing! I thought it also had to to with the dry weather in NY, but I'm quite convinced it has to do with my pregnancy ( 30 weeks today ). It's so AWFUL... It definitely keeps me awake at night, and nothing comes out of it! I never had to buy Kleenex before in my life, but now I have it with me 24/7... let me know if you found any miraculous product unharmful for the baby that we could use to relieve it! Best to you all! :)

ohno. my DHs job was to put the snoogle case back on and put on my compression hose! we ended up just using a regular body pillow case on either end
-
Acid reflux, or more commonley known as the throw-up burp haha ;)
-
Also u may have rhianitus ( not sure if spelt right) a natural sea water spray might help :)
-
Hi Kelsey, can't believe u are 24 weeks already! Congrats! My husband and I have been ttc for 6 months! I've found ur ttc videos so honest and real, and has really normalised a lot of what I've experienced! I just wanted to say thank you for sharing! I think ur videos are fab :)

I ssooo know what you mean about the heartburn/acid reflux, I had it really bad when I was pregnant with my son. I had a few people tell me if I had heartburn then I would have a baby with a full head of hair, and believe it or not my son had a ton of hair when he was born. I ate a lot of apples that helped a little bit. I hope you can find something that will work for you with the heartburn :)

My son was born at 38w1d and he was 6lb 10oz, came home 6lb 3oz. He was in newborn clothes for 6 weeks! Definitely buy more newborn clothes, but like pp said maybe just dont wash them until you know how big he is. I kept my son in zip-up footed sleepers almost exclusively! they are the easiest and most practical clothing for the newborn stage.

congrats, very beautiful belly

You look fabulous. Glad your pregnancy is going well and you and Nolen are doing great!
-
Awww your belly so cute and growing.
-
Forgot something...don't put that Vic's stuff in the humidifier...just run water!
-
I don't comment much but I love your videos. Your sopapilla video us on my favorites and is a crowd pleaser. Try a humidifier and a netti pot for the congestion. Works wonders!
-
I'm happy to hear everything is going so well! Besides being sick of course! Try a humidifier! Your belly has definitely grown!

@plus1please A small glass of milk helped my cousin w/her heartburn quite a bit-- at very least takes the burning sensation away. Good luck! :)

try almond oil for your nose, rather than saline spray...since saline spray is basically salt water, it might make your nostrils even more dry. almond oil (or any natural oil, actually) works super super well for this exact purpose...and moist nostrils means you are less susceptible to getting sick (since viruses enter through mucous membranes).

@anjomi86 Sure thing. I'm meeting with my doula in January to go over my desires for birth and I'll share then what I come up with.

@plus1please you can always buy a few and leave the tags. Wash once he's born and you know his weight to judge. All u babies were born 1-2 weeks late and came home around 6.5-7 lbs. My second spent 4-8 weeks in newborn!

@sahmof9 That's a good idea! It's impossible to predict how long your baby will be in any size.

@87pearlgirl LOL. Watching that back, I was like, "What was I doing there?" especially because you could only see half my belly. I was so tired/out of it.
