This was a Famous Studio "Noveltoon" released by Paramount in the 1950's. Many of the Famous Studios Noveltoons in he 1950"s had" a "Jack-In-The-Box character in the opening credits Which was later "Adopted by Harvey Productions when these animated film were later releasted to synication TV in the late 1950's-early 1960's.
The top brass at Paramount Pictures were always harassing their animation department to do a clone of Bugs Bunny.....they did the same ten years later to animation producers Howard Post & Shamus Culhane. Post did a Bugs-&-Porky clone toon entitled "Rabbit Transit" (1966), which also had elements of the Road Runner formula.
Originally released as a "Noveltoon" in October 1954. "Martin Kanine", another "one-shot" character Famous Studios hoped would become a regular series within the "Noveltoon" framework, was never seen again; his name was inspired by famed TV (and radio) detective "Martin Kane". Jackson Beck is the voice of Martin's "master".

The rabbit depicted was Moe Hare, who teamed up with Tommy Tortoise in a number of Famous-Paramount cartoons in the 1950s.
