  • Brother i love your videos.

    They are spot on.

However this one is not in par with your usual quality in videos.

    I would consider a retake.

    Other than that.... YOU ROCK!

  • @UFOGEORGE Yea, it was one of those days. :-)

  • Great video, however I suggest the title be renamed to "1911 Six Minute Overview" as it is not five minutes, nor a review. Who makes that particular commander? I imagine the ones Colt makes would look more traditional. Yours looks like a modern STI

  • @ealee3 My pleasure. It's more rewarding when you do it yourself. :-)

  • "Not a 1911 Buff"..haha- you do a very concise job of field stripping one and I'm the Kimber 1911 guy that still needs to pick your brain when I go for what you are definitely a BUFF on- the CZ family of pistols. "Very comfortable grip angle- very pointable sights, no b.s. controls" on the 1911- I agree & that's why I'm attracted to the CZ's. Great job on the vid and thanks in advance for your insight on the CZ & which modifications make sense. Regards.

  • Nice video. I have a Springfield Armory model GI which is based on the classic ww2 look and style. Great 1911.

  • Using your videos as a resource, I installed the following parts on my cz-75 sp-01:

    competition hammer

    single action only trigger

removed firing pin block safety, added spacer

Now my CZ has a trigger like a $3G 1911. I want to thank you for your videos.
