bringing back the Michael Nesmith haircut and Joan Crawford eyebrows. All constitutional. ignorance of the law is not a defense....

The First Amendment does NOT include Islam. You are NOT free to practice Islam in the United States. The First Amendment ONLY applies to Christianity.

@Evixtion What is wrong with you people? Atheists have the exact same rights as virtually any other citizen. Exhibit A: this pro-atheist video. Go stand in the middle of your town and shout how awesome atheism is. Guess how many people will stop you from doing so? None, because United States law offers all citizens the right to protest, say what they want, and as long as you are in a public area, go where you want. Stop complaining when you have no reason to.

@paulpang22288 understandable as I know nothing about Australian law, however do not listen to this guy about American law. He is simply incorrect. Believe in Atheism, if you wish, but Atheists, Christians, Satan-Worshipers are all given the exact same rights in every public place, by law, in America. If he was ever put out of work for solely being atheist, he could sue his employer, win the case easily, and be paid a large sum of money.

you arrogant, falsely pretentious prick. You are not funny, and before you go complaining about your lack of freedoms, maybe you could give us a list of what freedoms atheists DONT have. Atheists do not lose their jobs, houses, or whatever bullshit you just spewed out of your thoughtless mouth. There is not one public place in the country that, by law, forces you to involve yourself in any form of religion. (I am agnostic)

"Is there a God? Is a religious question." That's what I have been trying to tell people, and how not to respond, "I don't believe in God."

Good point..
You seem to be basing this on the slightly odd presumption that the US constitution is flawless..... So One dusty old piece of writing is wrong (bible) and another should be held is infalible (US constitution)?

@neverfearchrisishere No one said that the Constitution is infallible, only that it exists. In fact, it is, thankfully, mutable, which would be unnecessary were it infallible.
The point here isn't that it is good or bad, perfect or imperfect. The point is that it clearly says X when a very loud group of yahoos insist that it says Y. Disagree with X all you like; petition to have X removed and replaced with Y - but you'll still never change the fact that it doesn't say Y and never has.
