My graduate school wants me to go through the FAFSA, but honestly, what is the point? I know I will not get anything, and frankly I feel embarassed doing the paperwork when both my parents are in the medical field. Now, granted, they're not heart surgeons, but they live comfortably. They also have to pay for all the various bills they need to be done in the offices they run so that makes up for the pay.

why would your parents be responsible for your secondary education? But this time we are adults so our parents shouldn't be held accountable. The govt doesn't care about our economic downfall. those bitches are too busy making money and wont give it t the young adults who need it to get a better life some day.

Grr! I hate FAFSA, my parents can't even afford gas to go to work, we can't afford Cable, yet somehow the government thinks that they can pull $31,000 out of their ass. I'm beyond pissed off.

Oh my word! Exact same here! But not a lot of people believe me when I tell them, and I hate being the only kid without a student lone. I'm the only kid who doesn't get to waste money!! unfair! "hey beccy, what'dya buy?"
