@JEEPOFFROADV8 You realize that both of those frequencies have line of sight propagation, right? They'll go to radio horizon and no further. Assuming they're pumping out enough power to reach horizon (and they are) the only thing that will extend the range is putting the antennas on a taller tower.
Frequency only becomes a factor when you lower it into the HF and lower range (below 30Mhz) In that range the signal can bounce off the atmosphere (or travel along the ground) and propagate further.

Lets see... a speed test on my Verizon 3g returns: 2.5Mb/s download and 1Mb/s upload speed. Not exactly blazing fast but perfectly acceptable for anything you'd do on a smartphone. Youtube videos fully buffer in just a few seconds and I'm not exactly planning on doing a lot of online gaming on my phone.

@residentevil54460 They didn't buy T-Mobile, they were blocked. AT&T is the worst carrier according to JD Power, if that tells you anything!

FASTEST 3G COVERAGE ??? COOL! too bad you can only access it in VERY few places. Verizon let's you access there decent speed almost anywhere
