Harry Stewart - End Of My Journey Remix

Where do I start? For anyone not familiar, the character nicknamed "Sweetbread", in the movie "Cadence", sang a portion of this song in one scene. It has never been available commercially. Perhaps one day. There are a lot of rumors about the song, the lyrics, and Harry Stewart. Supposedly some lyrics were borrowed from another song without permission. I don't know if that was true, or if so, which song. ****** Update: thanks to styles4miles, I now know which song; "He'll Understand (And Say Well Done)." Although I would guess, that the song predates Johnny Cash. There are performances that seem to be much much earlier than JC. It's probably legalities keeping this from being released. Without question, it would be a big seller. I'm not an expert, but this is my effort to enhance and preserve the essence of this wonderful performance by Harry Stewart. Now this is the sad part. Comments posted in hundreds of spots, claim that Harry is homeless and living on the street somewhere. I don't know what path brought him to this place in his life, if it's true. I just wish We could help him. @sheyemmy Thank You very much! No to being a producer, but I did DJ for almost 20 yrs. This was actually the first project I tackled when I got an editing program. It's been remixed in about 6 spots to create the length. I always thought there just wasn't enough of this song. I also layed portions of the track over itself to get a more consistent tone quality and get a subtle reverb, like the sound you would get in a Church. I didn't want it to sound like a Grand Canyon echo! Thanks again.

I was friends with Harry circa 1982, 83. Actually my then future husband and I traveled with him and sang with him. God has given him an incredible talent. His name has come up twice in the last two days which is always a heads up for me. We miss him. Wish we knew where he was, and was able to get back in contact with him!! Actually, listen to this made my hair stand up, because it took me right back to those days!!
