Tritsch-Tratsch-Polka op. 214 (also known as "Trish Trash Polka") is a polka written by Johann Strauss II in 1858 after a successful tour of Russia where he performed in the summer concert season at Pavlovsk near St. Petersburg.

Peter Charles Geoffrey Jackson, writer, artist and collector: born Brighton, Sussex 4 March 1922; died Northwood, Middlesex 2 May 2003.
Peter Jackson is a master of historical illustration. He drew numerous London Scrapbooks for the Evening News from the 1940s. Born in Brighton and trained at the Willesden School of Art in London, Jackson's first published work was an illustration for True Story in 1945.

Wonderful performance from the Philadelphia Orchestra. Ormandy is no Carlos Kleiber (the greatest of all the conductors ever to lead a performance of Johann's music), but his conducting on this is magnificent.
