Grand Palladium Jamaica, Lady Hamilton

There are two sides to this resort which are essentially identical to one another. We stayed at the "Lady Hamilton" side of this all inclusive for the last week of January 2009. This video should help get a "lay of the land" for those considering going to this resort. I read many reviews before going and here are my conclusions. The restaurants were probably better than average, I stayed as far as you could get from the central lobby and it was about a 4 minute walk (for those complaining about too much walking), the beaches were not the best in the world but you have options when it comes to beaches and they are exclusive to the resort (you won't get that in Negril), indeed the beds are hard, I read many reviews about pool tiles coming loose but I honestly didn't see any nor would I care if there was. We took a day trip to 7 mile beach and were happy to get back to the beaches at the resort.

Totally depends on what you are shopping for? To be very honest, the best shopping we found was in the airport. I had read that on a few posts and ignored it but it's true. As for anything closer, no you won't find anything closer than Negril or Montego Bay. There's a couple gift shops at the resort that are probably 15-20% more than what you would pay in Negril and if I could do it again I would have just stayed at the resort and bought my blue mountain coffee and rum at the resort.

i have been there in october it was absolutly amazing..everything was perfect!!!! there no shopping in lucea really...the best shopping is at the airport or at negril.....but they have better deal at the airport..so save some money but negril is fantastic and the beach is really nice

i was there this summer i went from august29 to september5 2009 and it was the best vacation ever i loved it it was beautiful weather. the food the workers assistance and everything else was wonderful. the drinks were delicioso, and the beaches were amazing there were no complaints at all and the water was so clear you could see al the way to the bottom no matter how deep it was it was very warm beautiful i wanna go back so bad you have no idea i am so sad im not there anymore. BEST VACA EVER!!!
