Eisbär Knut ist tot - 19.03.2011 // German polar bear Knut dead

Knut is dead. Berlin's famous polar bear died on 19th of March 2011. He collapsed and drifted lifeless in the water. Knut was born 2006 in the zoological garden in Berlin. He and his foster-father Thomas Dörflein getting worldwide cult status.
2008 Dörflein died suddenly by heart failure. Now his little bear followed him.

ich bin sehr traurig =( Ich werde nie bekommen ihn jetzt sehen. arme Eisbär war zu jung um zu sterben R.I.P kleiner Eisbar. Ich werde dich vermissen.

@iTzGermanGeneration Oh Okay. I would have definately done the same. But I still can't understand why the zookeepers took long to notice that he was drowning. I know that sounds stupid but yeah he died from drowning after having an epileptic fit. :'( He could have possibly been saved because his father had the same type of seizure at another zoo and survived.
