More news about the Dux DX 4681 record player from 1969 that I got some weeks ago. It worked quite fine but had problems getting up to right speed, but I got the advice to use a lubricant spray called WD-40, and some days ago I went and bought it - and it worked wonders. Now it is up to speed - almost - maybe a bit bit bit too slow too but not as much as before, and not as much as it gets disturbing.
One problem still is how to deal with the fact that the autostop sets in when I play 78 rpms (and some 45 rpms) a little bit too early. I have not been able to solve it yet, but it's not that important. After all - it works.
Again, the mic in the webcam that I use to record this does not like to record music - so when I played the Dag Vag single it sounds muffled and really weird, but that is because of the mic in the webcam. It sounds much better in reality.
@Paneeks1960 Yes, but I don't have any camera with a good enough microphone, and I can't connect this simple recordplayer to the computer either since it does not have any output (apart from the speakers). Never mind. It works and that is the important thing.

The video was really clear until it got up to the single playing. You may have recorded the music too loud because your voice is even muddy at that point. I would have loved to hear what it actually sounded like in the room. It seems to be tough trying to get someone to hear your music through a computer. Thanks, brilliant effort in fixing it~
