After purchasing a drywall kit from a home improvement store, use a drywall saw to remove the hole, and then, attach a new piece of drywall with screws. Tape, mud and sand drywall to patch the hole using this free video from a home repair specialist on maintaining and fixing houses.

  • If you're going to be removing drywall like this, look out for live wires! Best to turn off the AC circuit breakers for that area and be extremely careful of cutting wires that may not be initially visible. Good video, though.
