U.S. Navy Blue Angels [HD] - Toronto Air Show - CIAS 2009

The U. S. Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron
The Blue Angels' mission is to enhance Navy and Marine Corps recruiting efforts and to represent the naval service to the United States, its elected leadership and foreign nations. The Blue Angels serve as positive role models and goodwill ambassadors for the U. S. Navy and Marine Corps.

A Blue Angels flight demonstration exhibits choreographed refinements of skills possessed by all naval aviators. It includes the graceful aerobatic maneuvers of the four-plane Diamond Formation, in concert with the fast-paced, high-performance maneuvers of its two Solo Pilots. Finally, the team illustrates the pinnacle of precision flying, performing maneuvers locked as a unit in the renowned, six-jet Delta Formation.

@Erik0219 if you get down to the lakeshore by Marilyn Bell park you can get perfect FREE viewing spots - even right beside the VIP area - which is perfect for filming and have the planes fly right over you. In '09 I was both along the lakeshore park and VIP area (when you hear the commentator in the background, that's in the VIP area).

It was a good year for the airshow, sadly it has declined, new thinking is needed, how about The Red Arrows, or the ultimate prize an SU 37 or MIG 35, I would drive right across this great country of ours to see that , luckily I live just across the lake...

I have been many times in the beer tent at air shows and go until either the blue Angels the Thunderbirds order Snowbirds that the Red Arrows are the best and wait for comments. They are all very professional teams I even met the Frecca Tricolore Italian team the year after the Ramstein incident in Germany. You have to understand that these are elite groups and their very competitive so the truth is in the eye of the beholder. I was military ATC Canadian Military.

Speculator to watch! Red Arrow, Snowbirds they all have their own specialties. I love them all! Its very difficult to fly formation doing daredevil maneuvers.
