this was my childhood and ect.

this might sound weird, and is totally off topic...but the music for that show Wonderstruck was pretty badass.

Sparks the memory of waking up on a weekday with nothing to do, followed by not a care in the world... life experience and wisdom is all good, but there is something about those mornings I am sure we all miss.
Seeing these old commercials and promos seem to just put you back for a flash :D

@UncleLarrysVault Towards what you are talking about a year ago I had an email exchange with the CBC suggesting they adopt either a "video on demand" streaming approach or a "made on demand" DVD system a la Warner Archives for their vast library as there was keen interest to see many of these old programs which were, yes, funded by tax payers. They considered it an interesting idea but cited artist copyrights as a reason for not doing it. If Warner Archives (and others) can, then CBC can too.

@UncleLarrysVault I agree with you its like the CBC is a shame of Canada's heritage the CBC makes me sickmaybe it needs to be boycotted to send a message for its arrogance towards such fine programming that helped develope our imaginations.

I agree 100%. Taxpayer funded shows like these classics should be available to all who request them for a song! Instead CBC feed us a steady diet of American programming that can be seen on any American channel day and night! If I were in charge this and all classic Canadian progamming from bygone days would be available on dvd and online.

The CBC is a joke a waste of money keeping these clowns around, look at what they did to classic programs like this these assholes at CBC need to get it together losers
