To celebrate the publication of 'Mother, Brother, Lover' -- Jarvis's first collection of lyrics -- on October 6 2011, Jarvis paid a visit to his secondary school, The City School in Sheffield. Performing on the stage that was the scene of Pulp's very first gigs, he treats the students to a rather memorable assembly, discussing his career and sharing some of his less successful early attempts at the form. Includes a live performance of 'Babies'. 'Mother, Brother, Lover' is out now: http://bit.ly/nMdmNx

Great to see Jarvis giving back to hi sold school. Unfortunately my old school in Sheffield, ashliegh, was flattened (quite rightly too).
This video had a little surpise for me too. The person to have the book before Jarvis is my cousin!

A heady nostalgia for 1973 and 1995 combined - it's a winning synthesis that will have mass appeal to the "market." Congrats.
