---- Although Gregorian chant is a universal form of chant sung in abbeys all over the world, to this day, it has been almost exclusively European choirs who have released Gregorian chant albums. Thus, it is a very rare opportunity to hear Gregorian chant as being performed today at an American abbey.
The chants of the liturgy used by the Roman Catholic Church form a vast repertoire that is more varied in its styles and origins than might be initially expected. Gregorian Chant is not a monolithic entity. It has many different strands or layers within its corpus, and different traditions as well.

It is incredibly beautiful, they are a great choir!
They did make a few mistakes though, in pitch and timing- they need to be higher on the "ad", the "meus" needs to be held longer, and the "ego" should be started on a higher note. It's beautiful anyway though, thanks for posting it!
