From my April 11, 2009 hike at the Keaiwa Heiau State Park on Oahu.

The song is "Tropical Hawaiian Day" by Ka'au Crater Boys

  • @veramann Lakers suck.

There was only a little bit of water that we actually came across on these hikes, and it was running water so cold (but fairly muddy also haha)

  • No, it's just interesting to know the water temperature in the forest. In California, the water is always cold in the forest, even during the summer. All the beaches in CA are also very cold, including the L.A. area but at least the people here enjoy the NBA Finals. Go Lakers: BE L.A., BE L.A., BE L.A.!

  • @veramann You mean the ocean? No, it's pretty warm most of the time. I'm from Boston originally, though, and the ocean there is always cold so I think I know what you mean. I've never been to California.

  • Is the water around there cold like in California?

  • I'm glad you liked it :-) I have another one, I think, from hiking in Hawaii.

  • From my seat I can see ice on my deck. But I can see this special treat on my computer.
