Skateboarder Jereme Rogers in Drunken Romp Through Manhattan Hote

Jereme Rogers, a professional skateboarder, has been ordered to pay $2,850 in damages after a drunken naked rampage through a Murray Hill Hotel.

Last week, the 26-year-old Rogers ran naked through the 11th floor of the Affinia Shelburne Hotel, tearing down three paintings. Rogers pleaded guilty to the act, and was slapped with the fine on Wednesday evening. He claimed that a woman he had been drinking with at a bar earlier that night gave him what he believed were anti-hangover pills. The pills apparently did a lot more though, with some reports claiming that Rogers boarded down the hallway during his drunken antics. "I became something I wasn't -- I became something like 'The Hulk'" he said.

Rogers, who was named Transworld's 2005 Rookie of the Year, at one point garnered sponsorships from Red Bull and Plan B Skateboards. In 2009, he retired from the sport to try his hand at becoming a rap artist. A year later however, he announced his return to the sport, and launched his own company, Selfish Skateboards. The skateboarder attributes his skills to God, at one point saying "God! I believe He strategically placed me here, so I could try to put out a message, you know? Use this stuff for good." His body, which is heavily tattooed, reflects his faith; tattoos on his hands say "Fear God" and one on his neck says "In God I Trust."

This was not the first time Rogers found himself in court -- he has also been arrested for DUI and assaulting a police officer. Maybe somebody should stick to the half pipe.
