Meet an amazing nature/enviornment lover from Wayanadu, Kerala, India !

This is Mr Musthafa, a beautiful soul with a compassionate mind. He lives in scenic Wayanadu, north Kerala, India and is remarkable in what he does. Kerala Inheritance director Jaison Jacob caught up with him one early morning on the Ghat road where Mr Mustafa practices something unique. This is the summary of what they conversed:
MR Mustafa is a nature lover who is very keen to see the natural beauty around the Wayanad area to be preserved. He normally gets to the top of the ghat road in Wayanadu district of Kerala and starts a long walk down through its entire length of approximately 10 kms between hairpin bends 9 and 2 picking up all the rubbish thrown out by the passing motorists. This includes beer cans, bottles, aluminium foils,plastic bags etc thrown out by the passing motorists and picknikers.His sole aim is to help retain the natural beauty of this area. During the course of this he at times comes accross vauables like cell phones, wallets etc which he dutifully hands over to the concerned authorities. By the time he finishes he will have collected nearly two big sacks full of rubbish. Musthafa says there are anxious people who upon seeing him climb down these dangerous slopes, stops and express their concern. He answers them with a shrug and a smile saying that he is duty bound and well experienced. Appropriately he has been nicknamed "Ikkru" which means a daring soul who is willing to take any risks without fear to fullfil his vision. His one ambition is to acquire an economical self drive pick-up vehicle to help him in his quest.

I realise now ,India is blessed because many Musthaphas are living there ,and not because of us(immigrants). We will be a developed nation when we reach Mustapha ,and not Moon.Hope our govt will not spend more money on Chandrayan,instead spend it for these people.
