@serpentinear86 Two Things you need to make snow shoes: Large-ish evergreen branch and string/twine. It's easy to find if you live in Michigan...

WOW... Watching the Video. Looks Good. You''all will get picked off faster then a zit on a 14 year old. WW2 the german army got picked off in winter because they wore white tops, with black bottoms. Think Smarter not harder guys.. ;-) Watch some of the "ultimate Sniper" video's to save your butts :)

You guys should go up in the appalachians or the Rockies and train during the winters up there, Realy intense and it either makes or breaks you

We do, and it is in printed form that we go over and hand out at the events. Just haven't put it into a video yet.
In Michigan, I like a big pair of warm mittens hung on cord off my jacket for quick warmth. I wear a lighter pair of wool mittens with the flip-top finger cover for shooting or bow hunting. But when the snow-piss-cold-rain-slush weather hits here, a good pair of neopreme ice fishing gloves under the wool pair is a must. Just consider the number of times you touch the snow .

They will, they do every year. Winter editions of their catalogs will be coming out soon.

The Sportsmensguide.c om carries a $19 pair of snowshoes made of tough plastic that some of our members have use in training and they work quite well, we were suprised.

Looks like great fun.. wish I could join in on that..
But going to Michigan, USA seems a bit pointless, I can travel 6 hours with train and cross the arctic-circle here in Sweden... Maybe should try it out some time with friends.
