you have a 3 second grace period in which you are still open for a clean hit...its not instantaneous

the neil hit def wasn't late...im one of the few fans who admitted it right away...actually i would like the sabs to get neil since he can hit fight and isnt that bad at hockey...peters is horrible...but kaleta is a beast and hits as clean as anyone...people dont like him cause he wears a shield but he is easily one of the cleanest and best hitters in the NHL...even tho dumb hurricanes fans think his hit on brindamour was a charge and cheap (laughs)...its the neil complex all over again

the official ruling i believe was 1.5 or 1.6 seconds between the shot and the hit

they deemed it a clean hit yes but it was more like 4 to 5 seconds after he shot it

Peters isnt a terrible fighter.
Sure he may duck, he fights smart, atleast he doesnt just start a hug fest like every other fighter in the NHL, his fights are atleast semi-enjoyable unlike Brashear garbage
