  • Hey, I got a Maroon 1997 Explorer, I want to paint it Black. What should I tell Maaco? I want a different color or tell them to give me ther most expensive job?

  • @NikeAirsCrispTees First you want to let Maaco know about any damage you may have on the Explorer that you want fixed, Like deep scratches, rust ets.. otherwise they will paint over it. Only get the most expensive two stage paint job if your planning on keeping the Explorer for more than a year. I had the mid range paint job and it still shines after being outside for a year. But with a cheper paint job any tree sap or bird droppings can stain the paint, like they did on my car!

  • im considering getting a maaco paint job. But i keep hearing that I should do the prep work myself...what does that entail exactly?

  • @normanowns0613 Yes definately do the prep work youself, or if you are unable then make sure you let them know otherwise they will paint right over any damage or imprefection it may have on body like rust, deep scratches dents and in my case a little peeling paint that should of been sanded down. ( I show the imprefection in video)

  • Hey. nice car and nice paint. How much did the job cost you?

  • How much did that level of Pain Work cost? It looks good enough if you got a good deal.

  • HELP PLEASE! Well I want to take my 98 Blazer to get either re-painted(glossy red) or painted a metallic red. I hear a lot of how poor the jobs are unless you pay them top dollar. Well im willing to pay, how do I tell them I want it to look as if it was brand new of tha factory finish? (Yes its a little beat up)

  • Looks good! I love it!

  • @gilldoom Yea actually I do there is a junkyard in Warwick NY called Specks that I got some chrome trim from for my Buick. They have tons of older cars. So just google the name and give them a call they may just have what your looking for.

  • @4x4trucking Hey dude I got a 96 Regal and I'm looking for a astray door for the center console, do you know of any places or websites that sell used parts?

  • Painting over rust. Yeah that's the way to fix it!! If not Maaco, then try Earl Scheib!!

  • Do you happen to know where the tool for removing the hubcaps is stored in the buick? I have the same car, and I bet the tool came with the car but where is it kept?

  • This car is pretty nice, don't listen to those fucks in the comments section making fun of it. They probably take the bus or drive a Geo Metro.
