@slimTHUGGA412 actually the logo came from a cleveland based steel company, that offered the logo to the steelers. Robert Sexton a employee out of Cleveland-based Republic steel suggested the logo. For awhile it just said steel but in 1963 the team was granted permission to add "ers" to the end of it. It has nothing to do with Philly the info in this video is wrong.
