This is the first look at the new concept kit from R.E.T. Percussion E-Drums. This is the Metal Masters Series! The drums you're listening to are completely Virtual, using the Metal Foundry SDX from Toontrack. SICK!

I have never seen another metal edrum kit out there... WITH TWO KICK DRUMS!

Basically, RET Percussion has been building custom electronic drums for 10+ years, and has really supported the drive for use with Virtual Percussion software like: Addictive Drums, Superior Drummer 2.0, EZDrummer, Ocean Way, Steven Slate Drums, etc.

Available at my online retail store upon release in 2010: Virtual Percussion Outlet

Pete Sandoval from Morbid Angel is the first owner of the Metal Masters!

  • wht song is this

  • @moneymoney220666 Well, when i go from my electric to my acoustic kit i fing it harder to play, the response from my electric kit is so good that i hardly have to hit the pads to get rebound from the stick, when i go to my acoustic kit i then have to work harder. Its not to much of a problem if i warm up on my acoustic kit before playing gig and what not

  • do electronic kits spoil your technique???

  • hey mikey i been following ur vids always, i've decided this is what i want, i dont' care how much it costs, i live in NB Canada, i want this metal masters kit. i'll have the money to buy it in 3 months. let me know if it will be available for purchase by then. thanks man, keep drumming man.

  • Here's an interesting idea, ..... put another rack bar at the bottom of them and have them mount top and bottom. Not THAT would be solid. :) (and pretty...)

  • @drumbryan - With carpet under my set, I've never had my bass trigger move. (RET 10" (Similar to Stealth, but custom.))

My only issue is still what it's always been.... Still need a controller that supports 9 toms and 5 cymbals (w/choke.) I'm still using two Alesis Trigger I/O's, but X-Talk has been a lot of work because X-Talk only works with triggers on the same I/O.

  • Ha ha ha, about time they did this lol. I was always pushing the single one back when recording stuff. FINALLY.

  • Great! ***** *****

  • Great!

  • WHAT song is that!?!?!?!
