Dr. Goel exposes the Cerebellum.
The importance of prevention:
This is the spine. Many people think because our spine is hiding beneath our clothes it doesn't really have much importance.
What I'm here to discuss with you is the latest research of why the spine function is so important.
In the olden times, they used to believe that the bigger part of the brain, the Cerebrum, is controlling most of the functions of the nervous system.
What scientists have come to understand today is that the little part of the
brain called Cerebellum, is really what is controlling the brain.
Cerebellum only holds about 10% of the brain's weight,
and has more than 50% of the synapses that's happening in the nervous system.
Now the researchers have come to conclude that the position of the spine is what's charging the brain's batteries; the cerebellum; which is controlling the
cerebrum.
So when you are having little aches and pains in your back,
please don't dismiss it, please don't shut it with medication,
please don't ignore it.
That pain signal is your body's way of telling you there is something wrong
in the body. The body cannot cope.
So, instead of numbing it, instead of ignoring it, get to a chiropractor to find out
why that is.
Consider that as a blessing because when we listen to our body, those
smaller crises will never end up to become a bigger crisis, health crisis.
But when you ignore it, and you don't listen to your body, it ends up as a bigger crisis.
So, the spinal alignment charges the brain's battery, the cerebellum, which charges the cerebrum.
When your spine is in proper alignment, your body is healthy.
When your spine is out of alignment, your body cannot function properly.
Now here is the amazing secret that most people don't know.
Your brain can only perceive 10% of the pain. Less than 10% of the pain.
So if there is a pain in your body, you already know you have problems.
But even if you don't have pain,
A lot of these things can go sub-cortically,
subconsciously, and you don't feel it.
If you have pain please consider going to see a chiropractor, that not only gets rid of your pain, but helps your body function properly.
If you don't have pain, you still need to check to see if your spine is in proper alignment so you will never get to pain.
We are here to serve you, we are here to help you get well, and keep you well.
Thank you.
