Fearne Cotton examines the ongoing trend for super-slim women and immerses herself in the worrying world of pro-ana websites who encourage anorexia and starvation as a life choice.
As Fearne explores the diet and exercise regime of a pro-ana, shell try some of the extreme regimes that they endorse and meet other girls whove embraced the same lifestyle. She will explore the seductive nature of these support groups, examine the world of competitive dieting, and look at relationships that ordinary women have with each other when it comes to diet and body image.

As someone who has suffered from Anorexia for nearly 10 years, I would just like to repeat something I was told by one of the senior nurses in the inpatient unit I was in: Most pro anorexia girls have no idea. Their BMI's have never been much lower than 16, and many of them are simply histrionic attention seekers who wish to glorify their so called sickness.
Disagree? Come the fuck at me.

@BaiNaiMai a lot of them ARE doing it because of body image issues and in some cases YES, even attention. if no eating disorder sufferers were doing it for shallow reasons, there would be no "pro-ana" websites. anybody that actually knows how bad eating disorders are would NEVER promote these illnesses.
