  • i like how you have made a balance between the pick ups i thought of doing that with my own but it doesn't give a lot of options with the sound

  • I don't favour a myriad of pickup options (like the Brian May guitar). I don't use an amp, so most of the subtelties are lost in the amp modelling hardware I use. But I figured that blending would give me an almost infinite variety of tones from one pickup to the other. he only thing I might add later is a kill switch. With no volume control things could get messy!

  • How is the project coming along?

It will be a cherished heirloom for Lilly and her children one day....

  • We should make some progress this month.

  • hmm, I bet it'll sound great... cause if it doesn't it'll become a "Who" guitar eh?

  • I'll have to ask. I can't recall if he said!

  • She could have put a large plant in the centre and made it a feature! But I guess it was her favorite coffee table. I suppose it seemed a good idea at the time. The question is did he make a really good guitar or not???

  • dear peri

i think that you have a slab of nice quality mahogany there,as far as i can see that will give a good midrange to bass sound when you plane it,check carefully to see what end splits you have, they tend to run-in further than you think..i see that the powers-that-be is consulting the book..excellent it should go together fairly quickly,,,,john

  • Cool. Can't wait to see it finished!
