Choreographed by Terry Sendgraff in collaboration with her dancers, Scorched was also part of the trilogies Black and White and Red All Over and Vital Red. This piece features three adult women dancing on two suspended horizontal red hoops. This dance symbolizes the fire of sensuality and the sacred bond of womens friendship. The dance, accompanied by the recorded lush cello music of Jami Sieber, embodies the heat of passion combined with control, grace and balance. This video was captured in 2002 at the Skydancers: Women Who Fly Through the Air aerial dance festival in San Francisco. Dancers: Wendy Diamond, Alayna Stroud, and Chemine Pollard.
