The whole idea that there will be a future 7 year tribulation is based on the notion that a gap is to be in between the 69th in 70th weeks of Daniel's prophecy (Daniel 9:24-27). There is no mention of a gap, no reference of one, not even a hint of one, yet most people accept it as if one is there. The prophecy of the 70 weeks makes perfect sense without any gap, while the purposes of the prophecy can't be fulfilled contextually with a gap. Contact me if you have questions sldwrd@yahoo.com

That IS a necessary part to play in the scheme of things until it's time for the truth to be revealed, but I wouldn't want to play that part. Offenses must come, but woe to him through whom they come. Something similar applies to those spreading disinformation. The Pre Trib rapture is a lie, post trib is also, but so is No-trib! @Myhopeisinhim Very well said, also the meeting in the air is in the same context when the Lord comes "as a thief in the night "when (after) they say (the whole world declares) peace and safety (as in after a time of tribulation) with sudden destruction, also II Tim 4:1 says we are judged at his appearing along with Rev.11:18 the saints, prophets and servants are judged at the same time the Lord comes and destroy them which destroyed the earth when, II Thess 2:8 Satan is consumed.
