Gameplay footage from FireStarter, another vastly underappreciated gem from GSC Game World. Yes, this was made by the same Ukrainian developers that went on to create S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

I had to track down a new copy of this game for the express purpose of recording this video. It cost me $1.68 USD. Therefore, this is my most expensive upload yet.

Is there ever any reason to not use slow motion in combat? Any limit to it?

The game's "Time Slowdown" feature is automatic. It only activates against certain enemies only during certain situations, usually just close proximity. However, it can be disabled in the options.

Old school games like doom 2 or games based on them, like painkiller are awesome... modern shooters should follow there example instead of inventing new ways to make games boring

@OCTI876 Also i wouldnt consider this a flamewar, we both are right in some way, and we both have sensible reasons. Its just arguing, more like a mental exercise than just saying the other is stupid.
