Next up, we tackle the Goldenrod City Gym and Whitney!
You may remember finding Whitney to be a real challenge back in Gold and Silver. Not much has changed, though we managed to get lucky on our playthrough. Having a Geodude certainly helped.
The gym redesign is pretty simple, but the pseudo-3D sure makes it hard to see where you're going, doesn't it?

The one thing I liked the most about G/S/C was the music. Ahh, sweet sweet memories. ^ ^

I must say, best Leader battle music I've heard from a Pokemon game. :D

Just a head up: if you're using No$GBA, I would expect the game to freeze before you manage to save starting on Route.... 36? the one after National Park.

she was always quite easy for me. i made sure my pokemon were at lvl 25. Funny thing is, all but my bellsprout were weak to rollout

how could whitney be hard? both her pokemon dropped a level since gold and silver. and i guess forgetting headbutt for rollout's a good choice. Just teach meadbutt to another pokemon so u can still headbutt trees

I just got a female Quagsire back in Gold. Can't be Attracted by the female Milktnak and is resistant to the Rock Rollout.
