yes in googling this subject there is a nov 09,09 article on recognizing Jerusalem as the capital by moving the us embassy to Jerusalem. this was decided by a vote of 90% 14 years ago, so my other comment is accurate. the decision to waive this law from implementation is done by all the last 3 presidents on the basis of national security. imo this increases our national insecurity and our curse is coming because of the actions of our nation.

the house of representatives and the senate in 1995 passed a law that recognizes that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. from what i understand the presidents from that time have chosen to kick the can of this law down the road one year at a time to the shame of our, the usa, nation. now we as a people have elected a president that is taking us farther down a false road. from what i understand a consulate has been built for the palestinians in Jerusalem.
