Let's Play Pikmin 2: Submerged Castle [1/3]

The videos everyone have been waiting for are finally here, the SUBMERGED CASTLE!!! In other words, what's considered by most people to be the hardest cave in the game. I wouldn't call it hard....just really different. Ah well, enjoy my nervous commentary and quick gameplay.

I think you're overreacting way too much to this cave. This to me, is probably the 3rd hardest in the game. (1st being Hole of Heroes and 2nd being Dream Den) Srsly, leaving the cave? You had a ton of time, not kidding. I know the time limit and you were fine for at least another 1-2 minutes.

Keep one captain by the hole at all times and then proceed to complete the level. Don't get freaked out when the waterwraith spawns.

@c00kiesandmilk Well a few problems with that. 1. I had to complete the cave in one run, and that meant I couldn't enter the next sublevel without all the treasures due to the 10,000 poko end day. I guess I could have kept a captain by the geyser, but at the time in my head I really didn't know where the treasure was, so I thought it would be easier to have the sublevel reset and find it again. I wasn't too worried about the waterwraith, but an ounce of prevention, as they say...

@KManrules1331 Secondly, you can't really keep a sense of time while playing the cave, your mind is just so set on getting through. I didn't know whether I had 2 minutes left or 2 seconds left. So it wasn't like I had a great sense of time and thought I couldn't find the treasure in 2 minutes, it was that I really didn't know when or how the Waterwraith was going to respawn. So I took the safest route and reset the cave by leaving and re-entering.

lol you tottaly missed the treasure and to leave then come back when it was right there on the screen! Don't worry though i understand your fear of the wraith. It scares me death every time!

Quick and funny story, I played this game when I was like 9 or 10.... I went in this cave... That bastard spawned... I pissed my pants.... Never played Pikmin 2 again... Until about a year or 2 ago.. Honestly, do not enter here unless you are ages 13+ lol....

I fear this cave. It has a waterwraith appear every 5 minutes, though, on the first sublevel, it is like 15 minutes. Whats even worse is that most of these treasures are food products, so you don't get a lot of Pokos from this dungeon, and collecting corpses is not a good idea here.
