To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission, Congressman Alan Grayson proposes a bill to award Commander Neil A. Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, Lunar Module Pilot Edwin E. Buzz Aldrin, Jr, and John Glenn the Congressional Gold Medal for their heroism in exploring space.

The space program is one of the most important things ever, not only does it show our advancment towards space, but it also has greatly benifited us, newer medical methods and medicenes, GPS Satellites, Communication satellites, Geology advancement and many other things.

There's not one thing that Alan Grayson has done that I can honestly say that I disagrees. You know why? Because he actually cares. Is about US. WE THE PEOPLE. I am a Harry Truman Democrat and based on what I have read, he attacked big business but also the unions, which ever were wrong on an issue. That's who I would like to see in office.

I don't know where you base your assumption. Why should I be concerned with his charitable donations? I support his politics and I like the way he undresses Republicans of their hypocrisy.
